Eddie's Masterpiece
Eddie at 4 years old creates his own cake masterpiece. His inspiration was a Mother’s Day gift for our elderly neighbor. Eddie inspires his parents Megan and Scott every day to work harder, be creative, and have lots of fun, and as you can see in these pictures he is a hard worker who is very creative and is having lots of fun! Eddie loves helping Mom and Dad in the cake making department; he will help some days for an hour, other days maybe just five minutes. On his own cake he made from beginning to end he worked for about three hours and still wanted to keep adding to it. (Megan and I believe he was just trying to stay up past his bedtime). But nonetheless he put the final touches on his cake and went to bed. On Mother’s Day he hand delivered his work of art to our wonderful neighbor, and she absolutely loved it.
Eddie’s cake started with a handmade volcano filled with strawberries that blast out the top. Then he went on to decorate the white round flat cake with pastry markers. There were seven figures drawn on the cake, and several Sourpatch Kids stuck into the top. Eddie also added a few hand crafted rocks with faces, and a waffle cone to keep the piece dry in the rain. What a stunning cake. His parents are so proud of him and the cake community is expecting incredible things from him in the future!
